Making a Difference to Kids

The goal of YoungLife in Mckinney is to reach as many High Schoolers as we possibly can.  We are now in 3 schools, McKinney North, McKinney Boyd, and McKinney High.

This year we opened up our second club, McKinney High School.  So now while McKinney North and McKinney Boyd meet at Glen Oaks Elementary School, McKinney High School will be meeting at  a different location.

We look forward to this fall with club on Mondays, football games, and our upcoming Banquet.

McKinney High--Sharptop 2007

This year MHS took its FIRST EVER camp trip to Sharptop Cove where kids got to experience the best week of their life.  They got to meet new people, play crazy games, and hear the greatest news there is.  One of the kids favorite memories of camp this year was the first night's activity...protecting their leader from attack of water balloons and mud while completing an obstacle course in the dark!

McKinney North--Frontier Ranch 2007

McKinney North took kids and leaders to Frontier Ranch, located in Buena Vista, Colorado, this past July.  Just like any Young Life camp, it was by far the best week of the kids' lives.  They played wild games, met new people, and heard the greatest news ever told while in the beautiful Rocky Mountains!

One of the best memories from camp this summer was the hike to the top of the mountain peak!  Talk about a breathtaking view!

McKinney Boyd--Crooked Creek Ranch 2007

McKinney Boyd took 2 buses to Crooked Creek Ranch for a week in July.  Crooked Creek, located in Fraser, CO, again made for a memorable and life changing week for those who went on the trip!  New friendships were made, wild games played, all the while hearing about the greatest story told!
