Each local area has a committee of adults who believe in the mission of Young Life: to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. You'll find adults from all different backgrounds, careers and denominations, including lots of moms and dads who care about kids.

Committee members partner with the local ministry in a variety of ways, some of which include praying for the local area, participating in fund-raising events and providing administrative help to the local staff.

Committee is the foundation for Mid-Valley Young Life. Oftentimes, new Young Life ministries start because of the interest and awareness created by the adult committee. Without "Old Life" (our adult commiteee), "Young Life" would not exist!

The Mid-Valley committee makes sure that:  

• Leaders are cared for and trained
• Funds are raised for camp and staff
• The ministry is covered in prayer
• Kids get connected to local partnering churches 
• All of our Young Life events and camps have the support they need
