How do we do it?
The 4 "C's" of Mid-Valley Young Life
Contact Work: Just like Jesus entered into our world to reveal His love to us, Young Life leaders enter in to the world of kids to reveal God's love to them. Leaders spend countless hours walking with kids; every type of kid, so that they can experience a personal encounter with Christ through a relationship. Regardless of how kids respond to the gospel, Young Life leaders continue to care for kids unconditionally.
Club: As they establish a relationship, leaders invite kids to an ourtrageously fun weekly club meeting where kids experience and hear the gospel in terms they can understand. Club is meant for kids who have never heard of Jesus before. It's a safe place for Christian kids to bring their friends who might be interested in Christ. And it's a place where every kid is welcome to come and experience the greatest night of their week.
Camp: Young Life leaders take kids out of their normal environment to experience the "best week of their lives." Words cannot describe how incredible Young Life camps are. Kids experience and hear the entire gospel message over the course of a week or weekend, and are allowed to process all they are hearing with their leader from home. From a 1/4 mile zipline down a mountain into a lake, to a 50 foot ropes course, to an 88,000 sq. ft. sports complex with climbing walls, skate park, and basketball courts, to 4-wheel ridge runners, kids are given every opportunity to live life on the edge!
Campaigners: Kids who want to make an impact in their friends' lives meet weekly to talk about what it means to put feet to their walk with Christ. Campaigner kids take advantage of Young Life club to bring their friends to hear the gospel. Also, Campaigner kids are discipled by their Young Life leaders and taught what it means to follow Christ and be a part of the local church.
