Because Young Life areas are financially supported solely at the local level, donors are vital to Young Life. Without their support, Young Life would not be able to hire and train staff, provide essential administrative support to the area or help send kids to camp.

Young Life also aims to establish and maintain a presence at all high schools and middle schools in the local area. Our five year vision (2006-2010) is for Young Life Northlake to grow deeper in our current school communities (Henderson, Lakeside, Tucker High, Tucker Middle)

We believe that in order to reach kids we must go where they go and enter their world. Every week in our local area, Young Life staff and volunteers can be found at school events and practices and at kids' favorite hangouts. In many cases, they are the only adult friends kids have in their lives. Our work could not be done without your support. We are grateful for your gift to Young Life. Thank you for all you do to help us reach generations of kids who desperately need to hear a message of hope.

Our local budget for the 2006-'07 Fiscal Year is approximately $200,000. This goes to support our staff members' salaries, and ministry expenses. Over 1/5th of our local budget goes directly to helping lower the cost of getting kids to camp by paying for transportation to camp, and covering camp fees for our volunteer leaders. (In most YL Areas, these costs are passed along to kids going to camp.)
