Donors are vital to Young Life at the local area and regional levels. Because Young Life areas are financially supported solely at the local level, donors’ financial gifts account for all of an area's budget and part of a region's budget. Your donation helps areas hire and train staff and provide essential administrative support to the area. Your contributions also support operating expenses such as salaries and other ministry costs and can help send kids to Young Life camps.

Over the past three weeks we have been working extremely hard to fund-raise the $20,000 that is needed to get our area out of deficit and to prevent it being temporally closed.  The good news is that we have been able to fund-raise $17,000 of what is needed, which means that we only have $3000 left to go.  We have also been able to increase our monthly giving by $1200/month.   Please consider helping us get the remaining $3,000 that is needed.  If you have given already thank you, if you have been waiting to see how much we had left to fund-raise now is the time to give.  

Remembering why.

Over the past week I had a chance to meet with all six of our team leaders.  It was an amazing time meeting with all of them.  They all had stories of kids coming to know Christ in their life.  All of our team leaders have a passion to see kids hear a Gospel and because of that we are able to share the Gospel with over 200 kids a week.  We already have 15 high school kids signed up to go to Malibu this summer, last year we took 25 kids.  Thank you for investing in kids.

We believe that in order to reach kids we must go where they go and enter their world. Every week in our local area, Young Life staff and volunteers can be found at school events and practices and at kids' favorite hangouts. In many cases, they are the only adult friends kids have in their lives. Our work could not be done without your support. We are grateful for your gift to Young Life.
