North Snohomish Young Life

Young life was started in 1941 but it did not start in North Snohomish County until 2001. North Snohomish Young Life started in Marysville WA in 2001 and has been an active part of the community since then with Young Life meeting every Monday night and Wyldlife, our Jr. High group, meeting every other Tuesday night. But the area also includes Arlington, Lakewood, Darrington, Stanwood, and Granite Falls. We are still very much a young area but I am excited to see where things are going, this year we have been able to start Young Life in Arlington High school for the first time and we have kids from Granite falls going to Marysville's club. If you have any questions or would like to get involved please contact Keith Dow at 425-422-3711 or email keith@nsc.younglife.org

Spring 2009 Update

As we come to the end of another great school year we can't help but look back and see everything that has happened. We started Wyldlife at Lakewood Middle School, Young Life at Stanwood High School, and Capernaum Young Life. As an area we had over 500 different kids attend a Young Life event this year, and on average over 160 kids attend a Young Life event every week. But even as Young Life events that take place during the school year wind down, the next couple of months can be some of the best for kids. I think we have a great opportunity in Young Life because we are able to spend the summer hanging out with kids and building lasting relationships with them. It is also a time where we get to take kids to camp. It is our goal to take 80 kids from our area to camp this summer.
