I have an amazing family. Since I can remember, they have encouraged my brothers and me to pursue a relationship with the Lord. It was not until high school, however, that I really "got it." I decided at Frontier Ranch after my sophomore year in high school that life was not to be lived for the approval of others, but for the glory of God and in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I would love to say that from there out it has been an easy road, but I continue to struggle with the idea of placing my confidence in God - whether through my looks or my actions. I do know, however, that I am not alone, and, day by day, I rely more and more heavily on the only one that has proven to satisfy me and give me far more confidence than anything on this earth. Young Life has been there through every step of my journey…with leaders who have stuck by me through it all. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to not only work with Young Life, but give back to this ministry that has given so much to me!
