I grew up in Atlanta with a wonderful and loving family that attended church every week together. My idea of Christianity was somewhat personal, but more of a checklist of duties. Once I got into high school I started to participate in Young Life. I had committed my life to Christ at a young age, but my first trip to Frontier Ranch allowed me to see what a relationship with Christ really looked like. College (UGA, Go Dawgs!) presented me with many more temptations than I had experienced in high school, and I spent a lot of my time running back and forth in my relationship with Christ.  My junior year, the Lord broke me and I felt a big tug on my heart from God to come back to Him.  I spent the following summer on Western Tour as a leader where I was able to remember what the gift of grace felt like. Since then, I went on the following two Western Tours and after the second one was asked to come on Student Staff. It was a summer filled with answered prayers and growth.  It has been such a blessing to work with such fun friends who are a family to me and a joy to work with each of the kids I have met over the last couple years!
