Young Life seeks to carry the life-giving of Jesus Christ into the classrooms and around street corners where teenagers in Washington D.C., live and congregate. 

Young Life NW DC is about building relationships and literally "walking" with teens in Washington D.C.  Since 1998, the full time Area Director Chris Girardi, has committed himself to these relationships - meeting kids on their turf and casting a vision for this mission to kids in NW DC.  Joined by O'Brien Wimbish in 2006, the two get to know teenagers and share Christ's love daily.  Today, they minister to five area high schools and reach over 200 D.C. teenagers a year!
