Kirk hails from New Martinsville, WV.  He was very involved in Young Life while at Magnolia High School. He then attended West Virginia Wesleyan College where he was a volunteer leader for four years. After graduation, Kirk followed God's call to Young Life staff and was hired in Cambridge, OH as an Intern/Area Director.

         During his time in college Kirk was gracious enough to his Area Director that she let him marry her daughter.   Sarah attended college at Asbury University in Kentucky where she also led Young Life. She joined Kirk's ministry in 2004.

         After serving in Cambridge for four years, they moved to Wheeling, WV in 2007 to work for Ohio Valley Young Life.  Kirk is the Area Director and Sarah is the volunteer Area Administrator.  They love being back in the Ohio Valley and are very excited to serve this area through the work of Young Life.

 

         Valerie is orginially from Buckhannon, WV where she was involved with Young Life in high school. She also decided to attend West Virginia Wesleyan College and led Young Life as a volunteer leader for four years. She fell in love with the ministry and felt very strongly that God was calling her to Young Life Staff. In July 2008, Valerie joined the staff in the Ohio Valley as an Intern with her main purpose being to restart Young Life in St. Clairsville, OH.  She also uses her degree in English Education to substitute teach in St. Clairsville.
