Brad Mowry comes to Penn-West from Frederick, Maryland. Brad has been the Area Director for Young Life in Frederick County from 2001-2009. The Mowrys were volunteers and staff in York, Pennsylvania prior to Frederick.

Melissa grew up in Frederick, Maryland and graduated from Frederick High where she was involved with Young Life. Brad grew up in Clarion, Pennsylvania and was introduced to Young Life while in college. The Mowrys began as volunteer leaders for Central York High School in 1996.

Prior to being on Young Life staff, Brad and Melissa both taught elementary school. Brad taught second grade for six years and Melissa taught fourth grade for two years.

Brad and Melissa have four children: Hannah (10), Eli (7), Isaac (5), and Micah (2).
