Young Life At A Glance

The journey through adolescense can be challenging.  YOUNG LIFE JOINS HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS on this journey to offer positive and life-changing experiences to help them find their way.

YOUNG LIFE LEADERS BUILD FRIENDSHIPS with students at Young Life events, but friendships take root as leaders go where kids are and become a part of their lives.  LEADERS ARE CARING AND RELIABLE ADULTS who know kids well, offer hope and guide them through the roadblocks and detours they may face on this journey.

For many students, THEIR ADVENTURE WITH YOUNG LIFE BEGINS AT CLUB, where they experience great music, crazy games and a lot of laughs.  Club is an accepting and fun place to be.  Toward the end of each club, we slow down long enough for a leader to share a brief talk about God that is relevant to students.

Students who desire to know more about God have the opportunity to do so by HANGING OUT AT CAMPAIGNERS.  Campaigners is a place where Young Life leaders and their students explore the Bible and talk about how it applies to their lives.

Each summer, leaders also GO WITH KIDS TO YOUNG LIFE CAMP.  Young Life owns 21 camps throughout the United States and are all set in beautiful surroundings.  They offer a variety of activities and extraordinary experiences.  During their weeklong stay, campers also hear more about God and His amazing love for them.

Young Life is involved in the lives of more than ONE MILLION TEENAGERS in the United States and around the world.

The Role of a Young Life Leader

Leaders are committed to being involved with kids' lives -- from supporting them at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's important to them. Our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.
