YoungLife is an international non-profit organization of volunteers (and some staff) dedicated to making sure kids have a safe place place to just be kids.  While our camps and club events have a strong focus on building character and self-respect, the primary focus is on giving kids a way to have fun without having to deal with peer pressure to do the things they know are wrong.

YoungLife has over 800 chapters worldwide.  YoungLife in Ramapo Valley is centered in Suffern, NY and welcomes kids attending any school district adjoining Central Ramapo including: Central Ramapo, East Ramapo, North Rockland, MahWah Township (NJ), and Tuxedo Union.

Parents and Leaders

Parents and volunteer leaders are critical to helping YoungLife fulfill its mission.  While the Ramapo Valley does have a dedicated YoungLife staff member, the majority of the heavy lifting to meet kids' needs comes from volunteers. 

Getting involved in YoungLife is not only great for the kids who come to Club and Camp, but it's also great for YOU.  Meeting other parents and concerned community members, participating in great outings, and knowing that you are changing lives gives us tremendous energy - and we'd like to share that energy with YOU.
