YOUNG LIFE IS A PLACE WHERE:

Friendships are made:

Young Life leaders extend a hand in hopes that friendships can be established.  Leaders meet kids on the ede of football practice, in school cafeterias, wherever kids are...They understand that simply being "present" in a non-judgemental way is the first step to earing kids' trust and the opportunity to share God's love.

Relationships are deepened:

As adults who care deeply about kids, Young Life staff and volunteers walk along side of high school and middle school kids down the many paths of adolescence.  Along the way, leaders demonstrate God's faithfulness by "hanging in" with kids regardless of their choices, trials or struggles.

Questions are discussed:

Kids have questions.  Leaders listen to kids, and encourage them, as they consider the One who promises the abundant life for which they were created.  For more than 8 years in Rapid City and Hill City leaders have been making friendships, deepening relationships and helping kids discover the abundant life that is found in Jesus.

The Role of a Young Life Leader

Leaders are committed to being involved with kids' lives - from supporting them at their sporting events to listening to them talk about what's important to them.  Our leaders in the Rapid City and Hill City areas help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.
