PLEASE PRAY FOR:
• Campaigners weekend went well - one of the kids and Max had some good conversation and questions that he had on what he believes in. Pray for Max as he comes back to him with some answers to his questions. That the boy would have a healing "inside".
• There are a handful of Seniors that are planning on staying in the area and are thinking about being leaders. Also a handful of Buffalo YL'ers that are thinking about relocating to the area.
• Camp this summer - Large all area trip - July 20-26th - all the areas going to Saranac.
• Workcrew kids - a couple are signed up for August and some for July.
• Rick interviewing people for new intern positions in February. We are hoping for 1-2 interns for the area.
• Presentations to Christian Business men's meeting from the vision and finance committee - openning of new opportunities to share the vision of YL.
• Reaching out to more Churches for support of our budget.
AREA SPECIFIC PRAYER REQUESTS:
• Irondequoit - Chicken Charlie - May and June fundraisers.
• Pittsford - potential committee members contacts and Flower basket sale fundraiser this May right before Mother's day.
• Penfield - 2 new couples on the committee getting more involved.
• Webster - upcoming Fundraising concert that 2 of the club girls are organizing.
• HFL - a couple of fundraising opportunities coming up this spring as they continue to raise finances for an intern in the fall. Social event the first weekend in March for people in the community to find out more about what YL is.
• Fairport - Informational meeting happening in Fairport in the next couple of months for possiblily of new committee forming there.
UPCOMING DATES:
February 12th - all area club at the Powell's, 28 Mt. Eagle Drive, Penfield. 7:30pm
February 29th - PW Gopal concert - hoping to raise money (2 seniors from Webster are organizing this as a fundraiser) for YL . Please pray for attendance and details of getting this promoted.
March 7-9th- Leadership weekend for Rochester East.
