The Camp Saranac Experience
"To say Saranac was the best week of my life gives no justice whatsoever to the true feeling of Saranac.
Before going in club when Carl and the leaders used to tell me that it was going to be "the best week of my life" I thought they were exaggerating and just trying people to go to the camp. But upon arrival I realized they were not kidding. Saranac had so much to offer that its almost mind blowing how extraordinary this place is.
I have never been to summer camp before, but after going to Saranac it set a bar at a level that is going to be pretty much impossible to beat. There are tons of things to do from mellow activities like sailing and making bracelets at the craft shack all the way to more intense things like parasailing, wakeboarding and tubing. Even just doing nothing and hanging out with your friends is fun at Saranac. And not only were the activities awesome but the food was even more AWESOMER. So just when you thought that this place couldn’t get any better it in fact did.
Also if you thought clubs were fun now wait until you get to go to a club with 500 kids or more. Now that is an adventure. Clubs at camp are some of the best around and best I have ever heard in my life. They are the ones that have stuck with me the most and I have learned the most from.
When making the decision to go to Saranac think about just how truly amazing of an opportunity this is. Hanging out with friends, doing things you would never do at home, meeting new people, eating awesome food and just all the good times you can have. How could you ever pass up an opportunity like that?! That’s right, you cant so sign up for Saranac as soon as you can! You will receive for this nothing than less than one of truly best weeks of your life."
