WHAT WE'RE ALL ABOUT

In Young Life, we're committed to three ideas. It's pretty simple really.

Number 1: We're committed to hanging out with high school folks. Some people think you're obnoxious. Others think you're a problem. Still others don't know what to do. In Young Life, we take a different stance. We love being with every type of person in every type of high school. We know that high school is tough and we went through it ourselves. To us, there's no one more important than you.

Number 2: We're committed to fun and adventure. We'll do whatever it takes to make sure that life in high school isn't just the same old routine of school, job, music and sports. We do stuff in town and out of town to make sure that everyone has the chance to make high school the best time of their life. Every week to every summer, we're doing stuff from parasailing, to rappelling to X-Box to pillow fights… whatever it takes to have a good time.

Number 3: We're committed to the fact that God loves us. This is a tough world and there are some real problems. We cherish kicking around the idea that there is more to life than the problems we see and experience. We love to talk about a hope and a purpose that is personal and wonderful. There is never any pressure to believe anything. We love folks enough to respect that faith is a personal decision. We like to be there when the going gets tough and people's questions get hard to answer.
