What Does a Young Life Leader Do?

Leaders are a different breed.   They go onto high schoolers' turf, wanting to hang out with them where they are, and get to know them on their terms.  Leaders show up at school, at practices, at games, at performances, wherever teens might be.  You'll see leaders playing Ultimate Frisbee with a group, or maybe grabbing an ice cream with a kid.

Our Young Life leaders are committed to being involved with kids' lives -- not just supporting them at their sporting events, but also to listening to them talk about what's important to them. Our leaders help kids consider the direction of their lives, and they offer hope for their future.  

Currently our Young Life leader team consists of Scott Chastain, Haley Harper, Heather Stroh, Dave Mahon (intern), and Chris Nichols (area director). Our Wyldlife leaders include Chris Cooper, Kelly Grimsley, Ken Manwaring, and Ginger Nichols.
