BEING AN ADOLECENT IS NOT EASY; the road to being an adult is not straight and often has rocky points. With school, jobs and extracurricular activities, kids are always on the run. They don’t have time be… themselves. Upper East TN Young Life joins with the local high schools to meet kids and offer them positive and life-changing experiences.

 

For the local kids, THEIR ROAD WITH YOUNG LIFE BEGINS WITH CLUB, where kids can be comfortable by watching crazy games and skits, singing along with music and makes Monday and Thursday night the place to be. At the end of each club, the craziness fades out and the message about a loving and living God is tuned in.

Kids may want to encounter more with the living God. Each Young Life leader can lead CAMPAIGNERS, where they can open up and explore the Bible and apply it to their lives.

 

Each June, leaders GO WITH KIDS TO A YOUNG LIFE CAMP. Imagine snow covered mountains, the rocky mountain air, and a week spent with friends while participating in crazy events. During the week, kids will hear the Gospel and experience His everlasting love.

 

Young life is involved with more than ONE MILLION ADOLECENTS, in the United States and around the world. For more than 15 years, the Upper East Tennessee area has been serving 3 high schools and has recently added one more. We have been spending time with kids at coffee shops, work, high school games, and after school to help them encounter one thing: a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

If you are interested going to camp, in early June Upper East Tennessee goes to CROOKED CREEK in Colorado. The cost is $649. In going, kids must fill out an application, pay a $100 deposit fee, and a physical form. An athletic physical form from high school is acceptable. We also take a trip to WINDY GAP in October if you would be intrested in coming on a weekend trip as well. Windy Gap is located in the mountains of North Carolina and is an action-packed weekend of fun and a great chance to get away as well as hear the amazing love story of Jesus. The trip usually runs around $100 with a $25 deposit.
